Vintage Photograph Union Pacific Steam Locomotive 829 Before A Run to Ogden 1940.
UP 829 was built by ALCO and entered service in 1939. A 4-8-4 \'Northern\' locomotive, it handled passengers and heavy freight across the UP system. It was mildly famous for a time in the late 50\'s, as it worked often as a helper locomotive to UP\'s gargatuan Big Boy.
8 x 6.5\". Photograph has a white border on the top and sides, but not the bottom.
In excellent condition. 3 of its 4 corners are nominally bumped; no other signs of wear or aging.
Thanks for looking at my picture, and we hope you\'ll return to Dry Creek often. We ask for two business days to get an item shipped, but it will usually be done same day. We accept returns for thirty days after purchase. We happily bundle and offer a discount for multiple purchases. We like all our items, but we\'re not in love with any of them- we\'ve got them here to sell them. Make an offer and we\'ll work something out. I\'d love to hear from you if you have questions or comments; message response time is usually just a few moments.
