We believe this photograph was taken in front of Jimmie's house in Kerrville, Texas. This was his newly built mansion, nicknamed "Blue Yodeler's Paradise." Tragically, within just a few years of this photograph being taken, both men had died—Jimmie from tuberculosis and Rogers in a plane crashin Alaska.
In great vintage condition, showing minimal age-related wear. This photo comes from a smoke-free home. I bought this from Brad McCuen who handled the Jimmie Rodgers reissues for RCA. He received it from Jimmie's fan club president, Jim Evans. This photo dates to the 1960's.
