This is model 683/2, marked on the base with the classic circular stamp: \"PEWTER\" over the B M monogram with the firm\'s bird mark over \"NORWAY.\"The pitcher is tall and slender (approximately 9.5 inches high, 3 inches in diameter) with a minimalist cylindrical body and satin-brushed finish, an angular strap handle, and a small integrated pouring lip at the rim. No lid.
A handsome example of mid-century Norwegian pewter — suitable for water, juice, or display.Condition: Good vintage condition. Small shallow dents (notably one near the base), fine surface scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use, and some dark oxidation/tarnish on the base and around the handle attachments. please see photos
