Vintage Parker True Blue Jr Fountain Pen – 14K Lucky Curve Semi-Flexible NibBeautiful vintage Parker True Blue button-filling fountain pen, dating from approximately 1929–1931.The blue-and-cream Permanite retains unusually vibrant color and strong contrast. These pens are well known for discoloration with age, and this example presents very nicely. There is some localized discoloration on the barrel beneath the area covered by the cap, along with normal light wear appropriate for a pen approaching 100 years old. Please examine the close-up photos for condition.Gold-filled trim presents well overall, with some age-related wear/brassing, particularly to the clip.Nib: Parker Lucky Curve 14K gold nib with a semi-flexible character. It writes a fine line with light pressure and produces attractive line variation with moderate pressure. Please see the actual writing sample in the photos. Tipping is present and the nib writes well.Filling system: The button-filling system has been serviced and fitted with a new latex ink sac. The pressure bar and button operate properly, and the pen has been flushed, fill-tested and writing-tested after restoration. It fills and writes as it should.No cracks or chips observed. Threads operate properly.I purchased this as a writer and have tested it personally. I’m selling because I prefer larger fountain pens and firmer nibs; the semi-flex nib should be much more appealing to someone who specifically enjoys vintage flexible nibs.Size: Approximately 4⅝” (117 mm) capped — the smaller/Junior-size True Blue.
