Brief Item History & Collector Context
Introduced in late 1956 and continuing through 1957, the second-generation Parker Jotter featured the distinctive \"21\" style inverted-V clip ending in a round ball—a short-lived transitional design used right before Parker standardized the iconic arrow clip in 1958. This era marked a historic turning point for Parker with the rollout of the original T-Ball refill and reinforced metal threads.
Offered in a limited palette of soft pastel shades, Sage remains one of the rarest, most sought-after colors by vintage pen collectors due to its short production run and low survival rate in high-grade condition.
