Vintage Parker Duofold Junior Streamline Jade Green - 14K Lucky Curve Nib - Resto
Item Description
Up for sale is a vintage Parker Duofold Junior "Streamline" fountain pen in Jade Green / Green-and-Pearl celluloid, dating from the late 1920s to early 1930s. Measures approximately 4½ inches capped.
Mechanism & Internal Condition (Requires Restoration):
Sold As-Is / Unrestored: I have no idea if this pen works or doesn't work. Assume it is non-functional in its current state and will require a full restoration before it can be inked or written with.
Internal Sac & Filler: The original rubber sac inside the barrel is almost certainly calcified, petrified, or completely deteriorated due to age.
Button & Pressure Bar: The brass push-button moves in and out, but it is completely floppy, loose, and disconnected from any internal tension. The internal metal pressure bar is likely broken, rusted out, or displaced and will need repair or replacement.
Nib Details:
Original Parker "Lucky Curve" 14K solid gold nib.
The nib appears straight and is not bent.
The tipping material (iridium) appears intact.
The exact nib size/grade is unmarked and unknown, but visually appears to be a Medium.
Cosmetic Condition:
Color / Barrel: Classic Jade Green celluloid. As is typical for this era, the barrel shows heavy ambering/darkening from historic internal sac off-gassing, while the cap retains much of its lighter green/cream tone.
Trim & Clip: Features the Deluxe triple cap band configuration.
Note: There is a distinct spot on the ball end of the clip where the gold plating has popped off/flaked off from the surface.
Shipping & Returns:
Free Shipping: Ships fast and secure via USPS (a $7.95 value included).
14-Day Free Returns: Buy with confidence. If you choose to return the item within 14 days, a prepaid shipping label or drop-off QR code can be generated directly through your account. Re-use the original packaging, attach the generated label for mailbox pickup/USPS drop-off, or simply present the QR code at any U.S. Post Office.
