Up for sale is a gorgeous matched pair of vintage Hollywood Regency ormolu filigree jewelry boxes. These mid-century demilune (half-circle) vanity caskets feature heavily detailed, openwork gold-plated metal lace patterns surrounding the body and rest gracefully on ornate scroll feet. Each box is fitted with a beautiful, thick amber-tinted beveled glass lid topped with a unique, dimensional casting—one features a beautiful floral bow bouquet and the other a cluster of roses. The interiors are lined with their original golden mustard velvet pad inserts, and one box retains the original vintage foil factory sticker reading: "Antique Gold Finish – Guaranteed not to tarnish."
