Vintage Original LA VISTA Orange Crate Label on Wooden Box Head Tustin Hills CA For Sale

The bottom edge is clearly marked: LITHO. IN U.S.A. – WESTERN LITHO. CO.,LOS ANGELES. The original date code suffix following the litho mark ispartially scraped/weathered and cannot be definitively read (resembles 549),placing the production timeline firmly in the mid-20th century classic era.

• Front/Label: The paper label remains securely attached to the thick wooden box end. Colors are bright, bold, and visually striking. There is minor age-related weathering, edge scuffs, and small surface scratches/scrapes consistent with authentic warehouse storage and actual packing house use.
• Wood Base: The solid wooden end piece is robust and heavy, showcasing a beautifully aged patina, original wood grain texture, and saw marks on the reverse side.
• Edges/Hardware: True to its history, the bottom side features evidence of its past life as a functional shipping crate, including original nail holes and a few original nails still embedded in the wood.
