Vintage No. 68 Boxwood & Brass Carpenters\' Folding RuleThis is a vintage 24\" No. 68 four-fold boxwood and brass Carpenters\' rule with round joint. This example is only marked with the model number. My guess is that it was made by Chapin Stephens company of Pine Meadow, Connecticut. I rate this ruler in GOOD CONDITION overall. It is missing all 3 alignment pins, but still folds up nice and tight. All of the numbers are clear and easy to read. The boxwood has a nice golden color. A great example of a vintage Carpenters\' folding rule for you to add to your antique measuring tool collection!
