This large and striking piece was purchased from a private collection. The original owner is deceased and the information provided by an heir was: the bowl was purchased in New Mexico in the 1980's as part of a large collection of Native American ceramics. The new owner's were not sure of the tribal affiliation or if it had been made by a Native American studio potter, as the original owner was a collector of all Art from the Southwestern tribal communities.Excellent Condition.
