Vintage Native American Chief Portrait Photograph Cheyenne Arapaho El Reno Photo For Sale

Vintage black and white portrait photograph featuring a Native American chief in full feather headdress, shown in profile. This came from the estate of a well-known photographer, though I do not remember the name at this time. I purchased a group of photographs from that estate over a year ago and am now beginning to list them.

The back has handwritten pencil notation that appears to read:

The print measures approximately 8 x 10 inches. It appears to be an older darkroom photograph on stiff photographic paper, possibly silver gelatin paper, though I am selling it simply as an original vintage black and white photograph since I am not an expert on the exact paper type.

Condition is good overall for age, with some handling wear, light edge wear, minor corner wear, surface wear, and a small chip/loss at one corner edge as shown in the photos. Paper has some stiffness/curl typical of older photographic prints. Writing on reverse in pencil. No frame or mat included.
