Lot of three vintage New York City Police Department (NYPD) Certificates of Recognition presented to Antonio Munoz for Perfect Attendance.
The certificates are dated Fall 1989, Fall 1990, and Fall 1991, making this a consecutive three-year matching group presented to the same recipient.
The 1989 certificate features Police Commissioner Benjamin Ward, while the 1990 and 1991 certificates feature Police Commissioner Lee P. Brown. Commissioner signatures have not been authenticated as hand-signed and may be printed/facsimile signatures.
Both the 1990 and 1991 certificates retain NYPD form markings “Misc. 1-113A (6-90)” and “873780 Ins Div” along the bottom. The 1989 certificate is marked “873780 IAD.”
All three certificates remain in their black and gold-tone frames. They show age-related wear including toning/discoloration and spotting to the paper, along with wear, dust, and marks to the frames consistent with age, display, and storage.
A nice matching group of vintage NYPD memorabilia spanning three consecutive years and two Police Commissioners.
