Crafted in Cougar, Washington, this vintage set of pedestal salt and pepper shakers is made with genuine volcanic ash from the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption.
Each hexagonal shaker features a distinctive marbled brown and cream swirl glaze, with "St. Helens Ashware" and the maker's initials "LD" etched by hand into the unglazed bases.
Both shakers are in clean vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and both retain their original orange plastic bottom stoppers.
