Vintage Mosser Glass Inverted Thistle, ice blue w/Iridescent Cheese/butter dish For Sale

Beautiful vintage Mosser Glass Inverted Thistle cheese dome in a gorgeous ice blue glass with an iridescent finish.

The translucent pale blue glass takes on beautiful shades of blue, lavender, pink, purple, gold, and green depending on the lighting. The dome features the highly detailed Inverted Thistle pressed-glass pattern, with thistle blossoms and flowing leaves throughout.

The matching base has a decorative scalloped edge, while the dome has a distinctive faceted finial.

Excellent vintage condition.

There are NO chips or cracks on the dome or base.

The glass displays beautifully, with the iridescent finish especially noticeable in natural light. Please see all photographs for the best representation of the color, details, and condition.

As with any vintage glass, there may be minor signs of age or handling, but there are no known chips or cracks.

This cheese dome belonged to my grandmother and has been carefully stored over the years. I am offering it for sale as part of the process of finding new homes for pieces from her collection.

It is a particularly beautiful piece in person, and the iridescent finish gives the pale blue glass a wonderful color shift as the light changes.
