Wonderful vintage Mosette Crushed Stone Mosaic featuring an early Cadillac automobile, design 24-A Cadillac.
This is an original completed Mosette crushed-stone mosaic dating to approximately the early 1960s, during the height of Mid-Century Modern gravel and pebble art.
The design depicts an early open-top Cadillac automobile in red, tan, black, white and gold tones. The picture was created using colorful crushed stone along with decorative braided detailing and is mounted in its original natural wood frame.
Best of all, this example includes the original Mosette kit box, which shows the Cadillac design along with several other Mosette designs from the period.

CONDITION
The completed mosaic is in nice vintage display condition considering its age. The crushed-stone artwork remains colorful and attractive with age-related wear consistent with a piece approximately 60+ years old.
The wood frame shows some normal age and handling wear.
The original box has considerable storage and age wear, including edge wear, scuffs, creasing, corner wear and areas of surface loss. Please see the photos closely for the exact condition of both the artwork and box.
This is a completed vintage artwork, not an unused craft kit. The original box is included as collectible packaging.
