This is a vintage Lorraine Art Glass freeform centerpiece bowl that is hand-blown in Montreal, Canada, during the mid-century modern era (circa 1960s–1970s). This piece is the definition of Mid Century Modern and the color is so beautiful.
This collectible art glass piece features a heavy, sculptural design with a rich amber and persimmon orange gradient and organic ruffled edges. Lorraine Glass was highly celebrated for creating Murano-style art pieces, frequently utilizing freeform stretch and fold techniques that made every individual piece unique.
