Vintage Mid-Century Japanese Lucite Peony Bonsai Tree Decoration Pot Japan:
$24.95
This is a beautiful vintage mid-century modern decorative bonsai tree featuring vibrant pink peony flowers and green leaves made of lightweight Lucite acrylic resin. The floral arrangement features a realistic textured stem and is secured in a patterned ceramic pot with white gravel.
The bottom of the ceramic planter is stamped with the original red "JAPAN" export mark, dating this piece to the mid-20th century postwar export era. It is a wonderful example of Chinoiserie style home decor from that period.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with no major cracks or breaks. The Lucite petals and leaves show normal light surface wear consistent with age. Please view all photos to confirm details and condition.
