Vintage Mid Century Hollywood Regency Brass Sailfish Marlin Sculpture 13.25" For Sale

This is a vintage mid century MCM Hollywood Regency brass sailfish marlin sculpture. It measures 13.25 inches tall by 12 inches wide, by 4 3/4 inches deep. This is a dual billfish, (sailfish/marlin) tabletop sculpture. Exuding classic 1960s to 1980s coastal luxury, this substantial piece depicts two stylised fish leaping dynamically in a crossed path over an integrated tiered circular pedestal base. This is an excellent piece for high end coastal decor, Hollywood Regency accents, or classical nautical collections. The brass has an aged patina with light surface oxidation in the crevices that highlights the sculptural details. The underside retains its original felt protective backing. I added 4 felt circles to the bottom for extra protection for glass tables or fine wood. The sculpture is in excellent vintage condition. Thanks for looking!
