Up for offerding consideration is a super rare 1950’s Michelin Tire sign that came from an extensive collection that I purchased from a longtime Michelin employee who grew up in eastern Ky, and later traveled the world and worked for Michelin for a number of years! The items that I’ll be listing over the next several days are once in a lifetime employee gifts/signs/memorabilia.
Vintage original Michelin porcelain enamel advertising sign featuring the iconic black Michelin tire on a yellow background.
This sign measures approximately 15.75" x 15.75" and is marked "MADE FRANCE" and "COURBEVOIE EMAIL - PARIS" along the lower edge.
Constructed of heavy steel with porcelain enamel finish. The sign displays very well with excellent color and strong graphics. It shows honest age and use including scratches, chips, bends, edge wear, corner damage, and surface imperfections consistent with decades of display and storage. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
