Up for sale is a charming vintage hand-painted Mexican folk art figurine depicting a Charro (Mexican cowboy) mounted on a horse.
The rider features traditional attire, including a blue sombrero with gold detail, a green jacket, brown buttoned chaps, and white undershirt. The horse has a rich chestnut finish with a black mane and tail, standing on a painted green terrain base. Made from painted clay/chalkware over wire.
Condition:
In good vintage condition overall. Note: the front bent leg has a tight repair at the knee. Shows light paint loss, subtle surface chipping on high points, and minor wear consistent with age and hand-crafted items (please see detailed photos for exact condition).
Please review all pictures carefully prior to purchasing.
These are delicate, so they require a large of possibly double box for shipping.
