Vintage Mexican Talavera Tile Metal Ashtray Rustic Iron Tin Cigar Rest 4.5\" For Sale

This authentic vintage Southwestern folk art tabletop ashtray features an artisan-crafted design, pairing a vibrant hand-painted ceramic tile with a hand-assembled metal frame. The central glossy tile showcases a traditional, geometric Mexican Talavera style motif rendered in rich orange, deep cobalt blue, emerald green, and crisp white glazes. The rustic metal base measures approximately 3.5 inches square, extending to roughly 4.5 inches diagonally from corner to corner to encompass four manually soldered, curved cigar or cigarette rests. Adding to its artisan charm, the inner metal walls are hand-stamped with four-petal floral medallions. The piece displays a genuine vintage character with an authentic aged patina and visible oxidation along the hand-welded joints, making it a standout addition to any tobacciana collection or a unique Southwestern decorative accent tray.
