Beautiful vintage ceramic cat figurine made in Brazil.
This substantial sitting cat features a rich amber/caramel brown glaze with deeply molded fur detailing throughout. The face is especially striking, with hand-painted blue eyes and a wonderfully serious expression. The darker glaze settles into the recessed fur lines, giving the piece lots of depth and character.
Bottom is impressed “BRAZIL” and also stamped “Made in Brazil.”
Measurements:
Approximately 8.5” tall
Condition:
Very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. There may be minor surface wear and age-related characteristics consistent with a vintage glazed ceramic piece. Please review all photos closely, including the underside and maker markings, as they are part of the description.
A gorgeous display piece for a vintage cat collection, bookshelf, mantel, or eclectic/vintage home décor.
