Each glass has an unusual heavy construction with a substantial stepped pedestal foot, short architectural stem, and elegant elongated vertical cuts rising from a finely detailed cut band around the lower bowl. The combination gives these glasses a wonderful 1950s–1970s European Modernist / Mid-Century appearance.
The maker and exact pattern are unknown, and the glasses are unmarked. Their design is reminiscent of quality Central and Northern European crystal stemware from the Mid-Century period.
