Vintage MCM Collectible Bob Williams Coffee Diner Mug Caribe \"Roy\" Jeweler 1960s For Sale

One of artist Bob Williams iconic and collectible 1960\'s handpainted diner coffee mugs with his signature pine tree branch and the personalized name \"Roy\" in burgundy script. Stamp on bottom of mug shows Mount Vernon WA, Caribe made in Puerto Rico USA handpainted. The exact caribe number/letter has worn but it was made from 1963-1965. This was at the beginning of his Mount Vernon era. It is in remarkably good  pre-owned vintage condition consistent with age and use. No cracks. No chips. Glaze is still shiny. Stamp on bottom is legible. Design and script are in great condition. Solid, thick walled and weighs 1 lb .9oz. 3 3/4\" h. 3 1/4\" diameter at opening. This would have been made for a local or a collector named Roy that was a professional watchmaker/jeweler. This is the same artist that created mugs for famous actors and directors in the 1950\'s (especially John Wayne). Please see all photos and zoom in as they are part of my description.
