Charming pair of authentic vintage mid-century 3D relief wall plaques molded from heavy poured plaster / chalkware. Beautifully hand-painted featuring detailed traditional Chinoiserie garden scenes, showcasing a courtyard pagoda, a worker with shoulder yokes, footbridges, and weeping willow trees.
Both plaques have their original metal wire loops poured directly into the smooth plaster backing and are ready to hang immediately on a gallery wall!
Dimensions:
- Diameter: 4.5 inches each
- Weight: Approx 6-8 oz each (Unpacked)
Condition: Authentic vintage condition. The structural plaster front face is beautifully preserved with bright, vivid original paint pigments (yellow, blue, green, red). No distracting facial chips or cracks. The raw plaster backs show some minor scuffs, age dust, and normal wear consistent with true 1950s/1960s kitsch chalkware.
