Stunning Vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian Art Pottery Vase (Model 90552) – 15" Tall

Enhance your mid-century collection with this exceptional vintage Italian art pottery vase, a striking example of 1960s Mediterranean design. Standing a commanding 15 inches tall, this magnificent gourd-style vessel features a deeply textured, hand-carved sgraffito brickwork pattern finished in a vibrant cerulean turquoise and white glaze. The highly tactile ceramic body is beautifully contrasted by prominent, smooth gilded gold metallic bands around the neck and base, offering a luxurious Hollywood Regency flair. The underside of the white earthenware base features the authentic, hand-stamped Italian shape registration number 90552. Measuring approximately 24 inches in maximum circumference with a 4.5-inch base diameter, this substantial statement piece displays gorgeous vintage patina, including expected light age-appropriate wear and minor rubbing to the cold-painted gold gilt bands. It is structurally sound with no major chips, cracks, or repairs—perfect for any serious MCM, Bitossi, or Fratelli Fanciullacci collector.
