Vintage MCM Brown Speckled Stoneware Frog Incense Burner Holder For Sale

This vintage mid-century modern stoneware frog incense burner is about 3 3/4 inches tall, with a speckled brown glaze and big round eyes. Lift off the head, set a cone of incense inside, and the smoke drifts out through his eyes and the top of his head. He brings a full MCM, boho, woodland eclectic feel to a bookshelf, a plant corner or a reading nook. He has the original Made in Japan sticker on the unglazed base, which shows some light marks from age, adding to the charm of a well loved piece. Please see photos.
