Vintage MCM Astrolite Lucite Sculpture Ritts Co Modular Mushroom Sculpture For Sale

This vintage MCM Astrolite Lucite Sculpture perhaps is by artist Shirley Ritts from Ritts Co or perhaps commissioned by her. It is a medium-sized, abstract sculpture of a modular mushroom design, created in late 1960s. Made of glossy clear/translucent Lucite, this piece stands at 12.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide, weighing 3 pounds. The discs are clear with a translucent edge and the base is of a translucent nature. The stems are all clear and perfect. Overall this item is in very very good condition without any noticeable scratches or deep lines, only the most minor, minor barely visible scuffs near the stem hole openings on a few of the discs but you have to be up close to really notice. I have carefully cleaned the sculpture using correct product and with care and it truly looks fab. The mushroom discs can be arranged to whatever position you feel looks best. When it catches light from outside or  from perhaps a lamp it truly is striking. This is a rarity in itself and you'll be pleased with its overall effect and condition.
