Vintage MCM 1940\'s Blue Metal Lamp, 12 1/2\" with Shade, Original Cord, Works For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage MCM Mid Century Lamp from the 1940s. It is a metal lamp with the original painted blue finish that has a great original patina. There are some rub marks and light scratches on the finish that can be seen in the photos. It stands at 12 1/2\" high with shade and 11\" without the shade, including the bulb height. The shade is not original to the lamp but is vintage and in good condition although there are a few tiny smudges on the outside cloth. It is linen wrapped over lightweight cardboard. The lamp has the original cord and plug but is missing the cardboard protector that fits over the plug end. It lights up and turns on and off with no problem. It is a great one owner collectible and was used for many years as a bedroom reading light.
