For sale is a large vintage French Virgin Mary & Saint Mutien Marie silvertone medal.
Saint Mutien Marie spent his life as a teacher and is honored by the Catholic Churchas a saint.
He was known to be an excellent fine arts teacher.
The front of this medal has the image of Saint Mutien Marie and the words translate to
\"Brother Mutien Marie Malonne\". The back has an image of the Virgin Mary.
This item measures approx. 1\" wide and is larger & heavier than many medals. It is also a little
bulkier because the Mary image protrudes out from the medal a little bit, so that side is not flat.
Thisitem is vintage and has age and wear including discoloration and loss of silvertone coating.
