For sale is a vintage Our Lady ofLourdes and Saint Dominic large medal
on a ribbon.
The front of this medal shows Mary holding Jesus and she is handing the
rosary to Saint Dominic. There are 2 angels above them. The words
surrounding them translate from French to "Queen of the Holy Rosary pray
for us, Saint Dominic protect us." The reverse shows roses and beads and
translates to "Rosary Pilgrimage, Our Lady of Lourdes." The ribbon translates
to "Rosary Pilgrimage," but the image is faded and very difficult to see.
This medal measures approx. 1 1/2" wide by 1 5/8" tall and is a larger medal.
The ribbon and medal together measure 3 1/8" tall.
This item is vintage and has a lot of age and wear including discoloration and
loss of silvertone coating on the medal. The ribbon is faded and has
ground-in dirt.
