Up for sale or buy-it-now is a wonderful, vintage collection of 112 original Kodak Ektachrome 35mm color film slides capturing one family's journey through the year 1969. These color film slides showcase Americana themes such as weddings, travel, and family gatherings.
The lot includes a variety of images capturing special moments from the past, making it a unique and nostalgic collectible item for photography enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Moreover, the slides tell a story across two distinct eras and settings:
1. Winter Holiday Wedding: Candid and staged imagery of a classic late-1960s family wedding, featuring authentic period formal wear, holiday decor, and celebration scenes.
2. Follow-on Family Summer Vacation: A transition into mid-century leisure, showing summer fashion, travel, and classic American vacation landscapes from the exact same era.
