Up for sale is a vintage pair of Lions Clubs International attendance pins, headlined by a scarce Scandinavia district badge from the 1961-1962 club year. The main pin is die-struck in the outline of the Scandinavian peninsula in gold-tone gilt metal, with SCANDINAVIA, 100%, and ATTENDANCE lettered around a raised center medallion bearing the blue enamel Lions \"L\" emblem, and 61-62 stamped at the base. The reverse carries a screwback post inscribed \"Per Stahl, Int\'l Pres.\" — Per Stahl of Sweden served as international president of Lions Clubs International during that very 1961-1962 term, which lines up neatly with the date on the pin and adds a nice piece of documented history to the badge. It comes complete with its original knurled screwback nut, plus a separate hallmarked loop/bail finding sized to fit the same post, so the badge could alternatively be hung and worn as a charm.
Also included is a smaller Lions \"100% Attendance\" fob-style pin numbered \"2\" in black enamel on a white ground, with its own integrated hanging loop — likely marking a second consecutive year of perfect attendance.
A nice find for Lions Club historians, fraternal and service-organization pin collectors, or anyone building a Scandinavian memorabilia collection. Please see detailed photos for full condition assessment before offerding.
