Vintage Lefton Japan Flower Girl Figurine A1949 Yellow Daisy Lady MCM For Sale

Charming vintage Lefton ceramic flower girl figurine, made in Japan.This whimsical mid-century lady wears a large yellow and white flower-shaped skirt with a contrasting black bodice and an oversized flower hat. She holds a tall dimensional flower on a metal stem. Beautiful hand-painted face with rosy cheeks, black eyelashes and red lips.Original Lefton foil label remains attached to the underside. Bottom is also marked A1949.Condition:
Vintage condition with age-related wear. The large flower being held has several chips/losses along the edges of the petals, as shown closely in the photos. The flower hat also has some edge wear/chipping. There is crazing throughout the glazed ceramic along with scattered surface wear, marks and discoloration consistent with age.The figurine itself displays beautifully from the front despite the flower damage.Please review all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the condition description.Wonderful piece for a collection of vintage Lefton, Made in Japan ceramics, flower girls, kitschy mid-century figurines or spring decor.
