Vintage Large Rosewood Mortise Marking Gauge - Excellent Clean Condition!
Offered is a very nice rosewood marking gauge. It is in exceptional condition I honestly don’t know if this was ever even used. If it was used, it was only a few times. It is CLEAN. Rosewood body with brass screw and pressure plate with a steel scribing point. The middle shaft is 10” long. The “head” or middle piece is approximately 6”x2-1/4”. I couldn’t find any manufacturer markings on it anywhere. Overall a very nice example. It will make a great addition to someone’s collection.
