Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage 13-inch traditional Korean "Najeon Chilgi" decorative vase. This exquisite mid-century piece is crafted with a heavy, solid spun brass body coated in a high-gloss, deep black industrial lacquer finish. The front display features intricate, hand-set iridescent mother-of-pearl and abalone shell inlays depicting two birds perched among a fully blooming cherry blossom tree. The iridescent shell elements catch light beautifully, casting vibrant naturally occurring pink, blue, silver, and green hues against the midnight-black contrast.

The vase is in very good vintage condition with no major structural dents or deep cracks through the metal base. The black lacquer retains a brilliant polished gloss, displaying only minor, honest surface handling scuffs and faint shelf wear appropriate for its age as pictured.
