Vintage Kayser Silk Glove advertising letterpress printing block, featuring a stylised woman displaying a pair of long gloves.
The relief design includes the script “Kayser” name and the smaller words “SILK GLOVE.” As expected for a printing plate, the image and lettering are reversed on the physical block so they would print in the correct orientation.
The woman’s bobbed hairstyle, jewellery and stylised geometric treatment have a strong Art Deco appearance. The block is believed to date from approximately the 1920s–1930s; however, its exact age and printing-block maker are unknown.
The raised metal printing plate is attached to a rectangular wooden mounting block. Black, red and other coloured ink residue remains across the metal and wood, indicating previous Silk Glove advertising design

Overall thickness: 2.1–2.2 pre-owned condition with substantial wear, marks, scratches, tarnishing, oxidation and old printing-ink residue.
The metal plate has worn and uneven edges and appears slightly lifted in places. The wooden block has ink staining, worn corners and a pronounced chipped or recessed section along one edge. Faint handwritten markings on the back are not clearly legible.
