Wonderful vintage Kaukauna Klub stoneware cheese crock advertising the South Kaukauna Dairy Company of Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
This small cream-colored stoneware crock features blue advertising lettering reading “Kaukauna Klub” and “Man’f’d By South Kaukauna Dairy Company, Kaukauna, Wisconsin.” It retains its fitted stoneware lid and distinctive dark metal wire bail and clamp closure.
A great piece of early Wisconsin dairy advertising with plenty of farmhouse and country kitchen appeal. Its petite size also makes it easy to display alongside other advertising crocks, stoneware, or vintage kitchen collectibles.
Measures approximately 3.75 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter. Interior is approximately 2 inches deep.
Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear. Small chip on one rim. The other mark is a manufacture defect that appears to have been glazed over. There is surface wear, light discoloration/soiling, crazing and small marks consistent with age and use. The metal bail and closure show finish wear and oxidation. A fine surface line/crazing is visible near the raised portion of the lid, and additional age-related crazing can be seen around the crock. No rubber gasket or seal is included. Please review all photos closely for condition and details. Sold as found.
We love these little pieces of everyday history—the kind that once sat in a family refrigerator and somehow survived for generations. Be sure to browse our other vintage advertising, stoneware, dairy collectibles, and old kitchen treasures.
