Vintage Kastrup cobalt blue 2 piece glass candle holder hurricane lamp. Measures 4.5" wide x 9.25" tall. This piece is unmarked.
This is one of Denmark's most popular hurricane lamp designs. It was produced by Kastrup from 1960-1976 and designed by the great Jacob Bang.
In the 1965 Kastrup catalog, these lamps appear as "Havelamper" (garden lamps).
**On the bottom opening of the top section, there are some flea bites and one chip (see last 2 pictures). Also, the base of the bottom piece has surface wear and a very thin (not deep) scratch. Please review the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. Everything else is in great pre-owned vintage condition.
