Vintage KSWI 1560 Mike-Radio Promotional Microphone Radio - No Reserve For Sale

Universal Publicizers Inc. was a Chicago‑based marketing and display company that produced novelty and promotional radios for radio stations in the 1950s and early 1960s.Their Mike Radio models were often custom‑branded with the station’s call letters and promotional slogans, and each unit was preset to one specific broadcast frequency. This is a great example of the Mike Radio w/ no cracks to the body that I could locate. This one promotes AM station 1560 - KSWI - Council Bluffs IA. There is some wear on the right back edge but only mentioned for accuracy. A couple of scuff marks on the left side of the base, but you have to really look close to find. This radio hums when plugged in and warmed up, so will need capacitors replaced for full operation. Questions welcome. If shipping is far more than what is listed, I will pay the difference. I will only ship to the lower 48 states.
