Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Japanese Satsuma cabinet plate made by Koshida. The front features an exquisite, finely detailed hand-painted scene depicting a blue bird perched near a branch of vibrant autumn maple leaves, set above lush purple and red chrysanthemums and garden flowers. The scene rests on a light cream base with a pronounced all-over fine crackle glaze finish.The scalloped rim is heavily accented with detailed geometric patterns and bright gold gilding. The reverse side features the authentic stamped Koshida rectangular signature cartouche in gold on a red background.Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no visible cracks or chips.
