Stunning Vintage/Antique Asian Display Stand Easel
Up for sale is a beautifully crafted, vintage Asian display stand, traditionally used for showcasing fine porcelain plates, shallow lacquer bowls, artwork, framed photos, or plaques.
Key Features & Design:
• Premium Hardwood Construction: Carved from a dense, heavy exotic hardwood (likely Karaki, Rosewood, or a similar high-quality dark wood) with a gorgeous, rich grain and a smooth semi-gloss finish.
• Exquisite Carved Details: Features striking, symmetrical carved spiral scroll-work (cloud/wave style motifs) at the base that serve as sturdy front anchors for your item.
• Adjustable & Foldable Design: Built with an integrated notched track system on the base runner, allowing you to easily adjust the tilt angle of the back support to perfectly balance and angle your display piece. It folds completely flat for easy storage or transport.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina. The wood shows minor, authentic signs of age and light wear consistent with careful use over the years. No major chips, cracks, or structural issues. The adjustable back hinge moves smoothly and locks securely into the base notches.
