Authentic antique Japanese silk haori with visible age-related spotting, foxing and discoloration throughout portions of the light ivory exterior. Some areas have more concentrated spotting than others; please review all photographs carefully. The pale pink lining presents nicely overall. No cleaning or restoration has been attempted. Sold in its present vintage condition.
Description
Beautiful antique Japanese pure silk haori jacket in a soft ivory/cream color with muted coral, gray and pale green decorative motifs.
The exterior features an elegant woven pattern of flowing, concentric contour-like lines along with abstract floral/textile motifs. The interior is especially pretty, with a pale blush-pink patterned lining featuring woven floral designs.
The original Japanese inventory label identifies the piece as:
アンティーク 正絹 漆草花模様 />
The label identifies it as an antique genuine/pure silk haori with a woven decorative floral motif and notes it as a display item.
This is an older textile and shows its age. There is visible spotting/foxing and discoloration on the ivory exterior, including scattered small brownish spots and several more noticeable areas. These condition issues are shown in the photographs and should be considered part of the garment’s antique character. No attempt has been made to clean or treat the silk.

Length: 35” — center back neckline to bottom hem
Body width: 24” — armpit to armpit, laid flat

Sleeve opening: 8.5” — vertical opening at end of sleeve
Because of the traditional loose construction, please compare these measurements rather than relying on a modern clothing size.
