Pre-owned vintage pieces with visible wear to the gold-colored trim, luster finish and painted decoration, along with scattered marks and discoloration. The bird cup has a gray rubbed or marked area beside the bird. The bases show wear, and the two-handled bowl appears to have a small chip or notch on the underside foot ring.
Please examine every photograph for the surfaces, rims, handles and bases. This is a mixed lot of three individual pieces; no lid or saucers are included.
Color, character & collector appeal
Orange blossoms, green-winged birds and sweeping dark branches give the two coordinating Japanese pieces an expressive, garden-inspired design. Their softly iridescent upper bands, warm yellow lower sections and gold-colored handles bring a lively mix of color and shine.
The separate Lefton footed cup adds a different collecting interest: a multicolored Order of the Eastern Star (OES) emblem, small gold-colored stars, and fine trim against a light body. Marks & identification
The two bird pieces bear orange-red overlapping-diamond TT marks with Hand Painted / Made in Japan wording. The TT mark is attributed to Takito; the maker attribution is not guaranteed. The separate OES cup bears a Lefton China / Hand Painted crown mark; its country of origin is not legible in the supplied photograph.
