Vintage brushed chrome butane table lighter manufactured in Japan - Brand / Origin: Unbranded 1960s–1970s mid-century vintage table lighter. Clearly marked with "JAPAN" embossed on the interior mechanism.
- Design: Distinctive modernist columnar styling with bold vertical black and brushed chrome satin panels.
- Two-Piece Design: Complete set featuring both the functional inner metal mechanism and the matching decorative hollow outer base sleeve.
- Mechanical Condition: Tested and sparks when the top thumb lever is pressed down. The mechanical gears operate smoothly.
- Fuel Status: Shipped completely empty of gas to comply with postal and carrier safety rules regarding flammable materials.
- Very good, normal vintage cosmetic shape. The piece shows minor handling marks and small scratches all over the metal surface, which is consistent with its age and use. There is also some light discoloration on the metal in a few places, adding to its authentic mid-century character.
- Testing Disclaimer: Sold strictly as-is / untested for gas pressure or fuel leaks because I do not have a butane canister to fill and verify the vintage internal seals. Perfect for an antique lighter collector, restoration project, or vintage home decor accent.
