These colorful figural shakers feature three very different vintage bird designs, making this an excellent instant collection for a salt and pepper shaker or vintage Japanese ceramic collector.
Included in the lot:
• Blue & Cream Bird Pair – Beautiful stylized birds perched on leafy bases with blue-green wings, cream bodies and painted facial details. One retains a JAPAN label on the underside. These are particularly attractive display pieces with wonderful Mid-Century styling.
• Red Pheasant / Game Bird Pair – Two elongated glossy red birds with decorative gold and painted feather accents. Their long tails and sculptural shapes give them a classic vintage Japanese figural look.
• Green & Black Bird Pair – An unusual matching pair with rounded green bodies, black heads/necks and detailed crosshatched feather decoration. A distinctive design that displays beautifully.
