Vintage J.R. Watkins Pure Ground Cinnamon advertising tin in the half-pound/8-ounce size. Features the original pink, cream and black printed graphics, J.R. Watkins portrait and original removable metal lid.The tin is empty and is being sold as a collectible display piece only. Likely dates to the early 20th century, although the exact production year is unknown.Condition is fair vintage condition with substantial age-related wear. The printed graphics remain readable and display well, but the tin has discoloration, staining, scratches, scuffs, surface grime and areas of print loss. The lid and upper rim have oxidation, darkening, spotting and finish loss. The bottom has scratches, spotting, oxidation and handwritten markings. There may also be small dents, bends and irregularities around the edges and seams from age and use.The lid is present, but it and the upper rim show noticeable wear.
