A superb original set of vintage British balance scales manufactured by J & J Siddons Ltd, West Bromwich, England.
The scales retain their attractive black enamelled finish together with the colourful original J & J Siddons Ltd – Scale Makers – West Bromwich England transfer to the front and a further British Made globe transfer.
Also retaining the period \"Not For Trade Purposes\" label.

A lovely piece of traditional British kitchenalia with a strong farmhouse / industrial appearance. Particularly appealing displayed with the weights stacked on the platform.
Condition: Good original vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. There is surface oxidation/rust to the weights, pan and exposed metal areas, together with scratches, marks and wear to the painted/enamelled finish. The original transfers have survived remarkably well. Please study photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
