Vintage J.A. Henckels Germany Single Blade Sodbuster Junior Folding Pocket Knife For Sale

Vintage single-blade folding pocket knife manufactured by the world-renowned J.A. Henckels cutlery works in Solingen, Germany. The primary blade tang features a crisp, deeply stamped historical "Twin Works" matching stick-figure logo positioned directly above the clean two-line brand mark "J.A. HENCKELS / GERMANY". Based on the classic stamp profile and framework composition, this collectible work knife was produced between 1950 and 1970. The item is in solid vintage condition. The classic smooth black composition handle scales are beautifully preserved, maintaining a tight, flush fit along the frame completely free of structural chips, cracks, or pin fractures. The high-carbon German cutlery steel blade exhibits a dark, uncleaned historical carbon patina with widespread surface pocket tarnish, light scratch wear, and localized areas of superficial orange rust pitting along the spine and face that would clean up easily. Mechanically, please note that the blade does not really open or close with good tension, exhibiting a soft or lazy action along the backspring that may benefit from a thorough flush and oil cleaning. Brass liners and pins remain tight with no loose side-to-side wobble. Please look at the high resolution photos for condition details, if you have any questions, just ask.
