For the collector who loves vintage Italian décor - or anyone who wants their bar cart to feel a little more glamorous - this charming Florentine coaster set brings color, romance, and old-world character to the cocktail hour.
The set includes six gilt-metal coasters tucked inside their original round storage container. The lid features a softly aged Venetian waterfront scene, while the underside is stamped “Made in Italy.”
Each coaster is a miniature work of decorative art, with raised floral and geometric designs painted in blue, pink, red, yellow and white against warm gold. No two are quite alike, yet together they form a beautifully coordinated set with all the ornament and color associated with midcentury Italian décor.
Perfect for a vintage barware collector, a lover of Venice and Italian travel, or someone creating an inviting cocktail corner with pieces that have a story. The coasters can also be used individually as tiny trinket dishes for rings and other small treasures.
The complete seven-piece set includes six coasters and the matching lidded container. It remains in good vintage condition with the scratches, finish loss, and mellow patina that give old Florentine pieces their character. The Venetian paper image on the lid has some surface wear and minor paper loss, including a small area where an old price sticker was removed. Please review the photographs for the complete condition.
Colorful, romantic and unmistakably Italian, this is the kind of vintage find that turns an ordinary drink into an occasion.
